Barack Obama, slipping in battleground state polls, is intensifying his negative attack ad campaign on John McCain in key battleground states. Obama's negative attacks run the risk of breaking yet another promise, this one to bring change to the political system. Some advisors are worried that more of the same will not stop his downward poll trend.
